What are you reporting?
The home is sold, the price or facts are wrong, or it breaks the standards, for example by restricting buyers by race or religion.
A home that does not exist, a request for a deposit before a viewing, or someone posing as a registered agent.
A copyright notice. Include what is set out below.
Your details or your home on Lokasell without your agreement, or a request about the data we hold about you.
Say where it is (the page's address), what is wrong, and how we can reach you. If you are in danger or have lost money, report it to the police as well.
Copyright notices
If you own the copyright in a photograph, text or other work on Lokasell and did not allow it to be used, send a notice to [email protected] with:
- your name, address, phone number and email address, and if you act for the owner, that you are authorised to;
- the work you own, and where on Lokasell it appears (the page's address, and which photograph or passage);
- a statement that you own the copyright, or act for its owner, and that it is used without permission;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
Under the Copyright Act 1987, we remove or disable access to the work within 48 hours of receiving a notice that complies, and tell the person who published it. They may send a counter-notice if they believe they are entitled to publish it. A notice that is knowingly false can make whoever sent it liable for the loss it causes.
What happens next
- We read every report, and confirm we have it if you ask us to.
- We look at the page, and ask its lister or agent where we need their side.
- We correct, hide or take down what breaks our terms or the law, as the standards say, and close accounts used to deceive.
- Where we can, we tell you what we did. We may not share what we learn about another person's account.
